Description

Description Reading is a basic need / requirement for people (generation). This importance has given idea to establish reading center in Bakoy refugee barrack to help students increase their knowledge, develop their wide perspective and have a mastery of subjects learned at school. Reading center will provide textbooks for students, general information books and popular reading books that will give benefits to students who still stay in refugee barracks, Aceh. Until now all of them don’t have books anymore because of tsunami. Due to this important purpose, it’s really necessary to establish Reading Center.

Output and Benefits

Output 1. Reading Center will be used as place for discussion groups by students.
2. Reading Center will induce students to read books as additional information of subjects that they haven’t learned completely at school
3. Reading Center will be provided by textbooks for Elementary School, Junior High School and Senior High School
4. Students will be able to borrow textbooks in Reading Center based on their need
5. Reading Center will attract attention of students to spend their time to read and decrease unused time outside school hours
6. Reading Center will change main set and attitude of students and develop their wide perspective for the future
7. Reading Center will create cooperation among students while doing / finishing their assignments from school.
Benefit 1. Help students to study in groups
2. Induce students’ interest to read books
3. Provide textbooks for students based on their need that are easy to understand
4. Help students to read and to borrow textbooks based on subjects learned at school
5. Decrease unused time of students outside school hours and replace it with reading books in Reading Center
6. Change main set and attitude of students to be better and develop wide perspective for the future
7. Create cooperation among students from different school while doing / finishing their assignments.
